Brexit might mean Brexit, but what does it mean for the future of British and European democracy? Yanis Varoufakis founded DiEM25 in the hope of staging a fightback against the expanding, fascistic, nationalist international and the death spiral of neoliberal policies and austerity.

The Week Behind Bars & DiEM25 London invite you to an evening of spoken word poetry and open debate with a panel of artists, academics and activists to discuss the fight ahead. We want to know what you think. So prepare a poem, or prepare your thoughts, to address these questions:

1. What opportunities do we gain/lose to democratise Britain, and the world through Brexit?
2. How can we strengthen bridges with European allies in the event of: continued EU membership, the process of Brexit, or in the event of a No Deal Brexit?
